How do you develop such a recognisable artistic identity? How do you work towards a release? And how do you ensure that your visuals, your socials, and your music perfectly match so that you stand out in the crowd? What do you need to know about copyright, promotion, budgets, and the music industry?
During Artist Unlocked, you will come out of your musical dream.
In this inspiring and practical two-day workshop, you will discover what is needed to turn musical talent into a strong, authentic, and industry-proof artist project. No dry theory or endless jargon, but concrete insights, creative exercises, and useful templates that you can immediately get to work with. Step by step, you will shape your own story, image, and future plan.

You not only listen, but mainly get to work yourself. Based on targeted assignments, direct feedback, inspiring conversations and practical templates, you actively build your own artist project during the workshop.
At the end of this two-day event, you will not go home with a head full of vague ideas, but with a personal 90-day plan: a concrete, clear and achievable overview of the exact next steps in your development as an artist. This way, you know from day one exactly what you need to do to successfully market your music and branding.
Who is Artist Unlocked for?
Artist Unlocked is specifically for emerging artists, singer-songwriters, producers and musicians who want to create, release their own music or professionally and consistently build their artist project from the ground up.
What do you need?
Musical enthusiasm, curiosity and a genuine desire to discover yourself as an artist.
You absolutely do not need to have a finished song, a large audience or a professional team around you; on the contrary. Even if you are still searching for your sound, your visual identity or your creative direction, you are more than welcome. That is exactly what this training is for. By learning from the start how to filter the unconscious noise from your branding, you prevent making costly mistakes later during photoshoots or in the studio.
Guidance by Kris Van Roy
Artist Unlocked is given by Kris Van Roy, co-founder of Mind The Voice and Master in Music – Music Production at the Conservatory of Ghent.
Drawing from his years of experience in music production, songwriting and artist support, Kris helps you to translate your creative ideas into a clear, authentic and achievable artist project.
He combines artistic development with the practical and business knowledge you need to consciously - and with the utmost confidence - take your first steps in the music industry.
