Sing high notes with more freedom and control.

SING HIGH NOTES WITH MORE FREEDOM AND CONTROL.

DIVE DEEP

High notes are for one singer a natural and almost magical part of the repertoire, and for another a recurring source of frustration. Often followed by the belief: “I just don’t have a high voice.”

But height is not only determined by talent or voice type.

During this intensive workshop, Tiffany Veys discover what your voice needs to sing high notes more freely, more stably and with more control. You work according to the Mind The Voice® Method with the Vocal Map and Vocal Strategy: a clear, step-by-step approach that maps your vocal possibilities and teaches you to train purposefully.

You explore which vocal and physical settings are needed for different types of high sounds. You learn not only which exercises you can do, but also why they work and how the right coordination in your body and voice should feel.

This workshop is suitable for singers from various genres and with diverse levels of experience. Singers with a classical training or conservatory background can also discover new ways to use their upper register with more freedom and control, whether it concerns belting, head voice, mixed voice, flageolet or whistle tones.

In a small group of up to six participants, you receive personal guidance and ample space to apply the techniques to your own voice and repertoire.

What can you expect?

  • Belt, mixed voice, head voice, flageolet and whistle tones
  • You learn to recognise the differences between these registers and sound settings. You discover how to train them and how to switch more smoothly from one register to another.
  • Twang as a tool for height
  • You explore how twang can contribute to clarity, ring and projection in your high notes, without adding extra pressure.
  • Tailored breath support
  • Not every high note requires the same support. You learn what breath support is needed for belt, mixed voice and head voice, without pushing or constricting your breath.
  • Resonance and timbre in the high range
  • You discover how to make high notes sound fuller, richer and freer, and how to prevent them from sounding sharp, thin or forced.
  • Muscle chains and physical support
  • You learn which muscle chains you can activate for different types of high notes.

Goal-oriented training

You do not receive a collection of general exercises, but learn which exercise you can use for the specific vocal problem you want to solve.

After this workshop, you can

  • better recognise different registers and sound settings;
  • make more conscious choices between belt, mixed voice and head voice;
  • purposefully use twang for clarity and projection;
  • adjust your breath support to the type of high note;
  • recognise unnecessary tension while singing more quickly;
  • use your body more efficiently to support your voice;
  • train high notes more purposefully and independently;

For whom?

This DIVE DEEP is intended for singers from various genres and with diverse levels of experience. The workshop is suitable for those who:

  • tend to push or force high notes;
  • struggle to switch between registers stably;
  • want to develop more power, freedom or control in the high range;
  • want to purposefully expand their own range;
  • want to better understand what technique their own voice needs.

You will leave with more insight into your vocal system, concrete exercises for your own voice, and a targeted strategy to further develop your high notes.
