The MEINL Sonic Energy Crystal Singing Chalice combines the rich resonance of a crystal singing bowl with the freedom of movement of a handbell.
Hold the chalice comfortably by the stem and bring it gently to sound. The clear tone opens up widely, resonates for an exceptionally long time, and can be consciously moved around a person, through a space, or between different participants.

Unlike a traditional crystal singing bowl, this chalice does not need to remain in a fixed position. Thanks to the stem, you can easily hold it and consciously let the sound travel through the space. Move the chalice slowly around the body, between different participants or through the space during a sound bath. This way, you determine where the resonance occurs and how the sound is experienced.

This Crystal Singing Chalice resonates in tone B3 and is tuned to A4 = 440 Hz. The tone has a clear and rich character, with a deep resonance and a particularly long sustain. How do you play the chalice?
Hold the chalice firmly but relaxed at the stem. Bring it gently to sound with a suitable mallet or lightly stroke along the edge with a silicone rod. Let the instrument resonate freely and avoid a too hard strike. A suitable mallet or rod is available separately.
